 And the winners are...
Ok, sorry for the delay everyone.

As a side note before things are announced, I really want to thank everyone for participating, providing feedback, and really coming together again to make this competition a success. Huge thanks also goes out to Sapphire, Wacom, Massacre Servers, Kot-in-Action, and id Software for being great repeat sponsors.

Also, I've changed the way things were scored this time around. Rather than calculate things based on standard deviation (which I still think has a lot of merits) I've gone ahead with a points-based system. The map that is liked the most by each judge is given 5 points each, the 2nd favorite is given 3 points, and the 3rd favorite is given 1 point.

And the winners are:
6th through 8th (not ordered):
-knc4_dm by Patrick "kaffeewunder" Horn
-blicethdral by Bernd "Bliccer" Macht
-storm3dm7_msg by Justin "StormShadow" Ingels

5th:
-dk_msg4_ctf by Andy "dONKEY" Dunn

4th:
mhjtourney2 by Martin Eriksson

3rd:
phantq3dm5_mav4 by Tom "Phantazm11" Perryman

2nd:
desctf3 by Chad "Despair" Younger

1st:
ct3tourney3 by Ferdinand 'cityy' List

Congrats again to everyone who entered and especially to the finalists above. Because there are enough prizes for everyone who was a finalist I'll be emailing each of you with some more information soon about the SteelStorm game via Steam from Kot-in-Action. 1st place, you have you choice of the Wacom tablet or the graphics card and 2nd place will take whichever wasn't chosen. The $100 cash prize will be distributed as well. id Software also donated some QuakeLive tokens which I'll be emailing to you guys as well.

I've attached the final scoring sheets from all the judges. Please feel free to check their comments and to verify that I've actually done the scoring correctly.

GG all.
Congrats to the winners.
Not that it really matters, and am not trying to make a fuss, just from the score sheets, not sure why I'm 5th and not 4th, the scores don't seem to indicate that. :)

Congrats to the winners.

Is there a date when you are planning to release the final pack, Maverick?

Congratz 2 ALL!

For the next competition i would wish, that u ask
judges, which come from different gametypes/MODs
and no judges, that are lookin for a certain map
for a certain purpose!
[Each year a CPM- and/or tourneyMap has won!]

And i´d wish to add two dates:
when the competition starts and when it ends!
