smiker: thx So, i figured i'd go ahead an post an alpha. Meant to weeks ago but i've been slacking heh. desctf5_a.pk3The layout is pretty much set (geometry wise), but all feedback is welcome. I've only got a rough weapon/armor layout atm, so some feedback there would be appreciated. There is no RA atm, but i'd like to include one, likely replacing one of the YA's, but not sure which. Here's an early detail shot as well, just cuz.  [thumb]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/23119429/shot0005.jpg[/thumb] Note: as much of the map is currently unlit (except for skylight) r_lightmap 1 may be needed to see in some areas. also, the map will crash if loaded in ctf mode (lacks the spawns atm) so just launch it in ffa mode for now. For those unfamiliar with launching custom maps in QL, place the pk3 in your baseq3 folder with the other .pk3's and set the pk3 to 'read only'. Then start a practice game (FFA) in QL on any map. Once in game, type /map desctf5_a in console (or /devmap).

Not rude at all, but i'm afraid I can't help you out there. The map uses some QL assets which aren't included in the pk3 (and i obviously can't redistribute). Also QL maps use a differnet bsp version than q3 so it wouldn't work even if you were to decrypt it. QL can load Q3 maps, but not vice versa unfortunately.
