Even though I'm sad to see the CTF layout go (it was turning out to be very nice), this new duel map has some great, rustic visuals - I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays!

P.S. What does that sign in the second screenshot say? Not the one with the word of the week but the second shot at the top, with the RL symbol, etc.

Even more nice screens. Has a heavy Team Fortress 2 feel to it, which certainly isn't a bad thing.

I really like the look of this map from the screenshots. I'm a huge fan of cobbled together things. Like sideways boards and metal scraps put together. Can't wait to see how this turns out!

Looks excellent so far.

I really like how you designed the RA room - the RA is quite vulnerable where it is and you've got a RL right above where someone can punish you if you're not listening carefully enough. I even noticed the little planks branching from the RG which allow you to peek at the RA area and land some surprise shots. Neato.

The MH room vaguely reminds me of Aerowalk, but more open. I would usually say here that the MH and RA are rather close (can be obtained in about 3 seconds apart from each other in CPM) - but at the same time, the RA is in such a vulnerable position (a good thing) that someone may just be able to take you by surprise and cripple you even after stocking. (There's also the LG across from MH to watch as well) I'd have to actually see how it plays, though. (Primarily online, if there are plans to upload it to Maverick's testing servers)

I personally would like to be able to shoot through the grate where the upper GA is (right above that 25+ health on the raised platform) so you can spam rockets straight down instead of having to peek over the ledge.

Visuals already look great, but there's a few nitpicks. The small square sign from MH which says "46-7" or something like that is far enough from the wall to make it look as if it's floating. The pentagram gothic lights also look quite strange in a worn and torn supply company building. The futuristic baseq3 teleporter also looks out-of-place, though I'm guessing it's still WIP. The chains holding the signs (see you were inspired by Reflux) sometimes fly right off the sign they're supposed to be supporting, but hardly anyone will notice it.

The layout turned out to be marvelous, and aesthetics establish a rustic industrial atmosphere. Good luck with it Mr. List!

Very impressive map, especially for how little time you had to make it! I like how the layout intertwines. I also noticed that the base of the center area is a little aero-walkish :).

just a few things i wanted to mention,

- i wish it was a little more open. rocket launcher seems to be the weapon of choice. nothing you can do now, just mentioning it.

- that tile texture you are using on the floor does not fit in one bit. you should make the tile a lot dirtier or switch them out with something more like the metal clang or wood planks you are using on the other floors.

- i think i see what you are going for with the RA path but this raised portion i highlighted is severely restricting the flow of your map and i think you should level it.
