bad!!!!! fix it.


hahhah seriously, such tight work, but this building in such low poly vs the rest of the map, and that pool type thing. it does not sit with the super fine level of detail shown through out the rest of the map. make a beach, or just fade to sea. (its such a mark on such fine detail work.)also, clipping. too many place i felt like i should be able to reach stuff, only to be hit by invisible clip brushes, its not good right now.

great job for 10weeks tho, rock it man :D

There are only 2 things I found. As you can see my video card sucks and ruins your nice sky.
You may have to add skyfix to your bsp so crappy cards like mine may do it some justice. Also
in the same screen shot you can see that the bottom of the plants arent visable. I dont know
if thats caused by my video card or not. I havent played your map yet with bots but as far as
its visual appeal, its fabulous. I really like the textureing and the way the water flows through
the map :D .

fKd - thanks, but there is no way how to unify waving sea with that which is around (in skybox) because environmental mapping is not functional here :( so I was forced to use this wall. Also polygonal models in skybox should be lowpoly. Can you imagine how big killer of performance it is? :) I'll do my best but I'm not so good to made miracles :)

Kaustic - for this skyproblems of ATI cards there is a fix i posted on Q3W forums some time ago :) Plants are there only temporarily, I'll delete them, because im not satisfied wit this look. And thanks :)

Well if you use -skyfix you get the lines on nvidia cards (Engineer told me).
@Noru: I will definitely play the map when I get home! So excited how it does look ingame. Did you see this skythingy by hipshot on q3w? The map of the lvlworld.com contest uses this at the end section. Maybe this helps?

Red armor seems to have a respawn delay of 1-2 seconds, is this intentional?

There are some really cool things in this map, like the RA door slowly opening and the water slide.

I agree about the clipping being kind of weird. The whole BFG area feels strange. For example, it looks like you can jump on the bars above it but you just fall down, and also it looks like you can go behind the BFG "cage" between the pillars but you can't. Also it looks like you can jump behind the Q3 logo. Obviously you can't just let the players clip against the logo because of its detail, but I'm just pointing out how people are used to being able to go where it looks like they can go.

I also have no idea how the BFG gate works :D. Is it on a timer?
