Post Overview of my upcoming map
So I have worked a bit on a layout and that's what came out of ~6 hours of drawing and Photoshop:

Ok, after quite a bit of suggestions trough IRC and 4h of work here is alpha_2! Quite some Stuff has changed, suggestions/criticism here pls.

Much better already!

I still don't like the path from the GL to the PG. It feels weird to move in because of all the corners. Also I think you can scale down the RA room a little more - there is lots of unused space there right now. Besides that I felt like the JP in the MH room wasn't such an appealing route to take compared to the TP. The 180 degrees turn there feels slow and strange.

Looking forward to the next version :)

Changes again! Layout gets better and better every time, and this time I changed some weapon/ammo/spawnstuff. Need your suggestions again guys!

When I loaded up the map it had no textures. All grey and with grid.

What type of Quake 3 Install do you have? I used stock textures only, so if you have Q3+CPMA+CPM-Mappack you should have textures ingame.

Hi :)

I think that You should use only base Q3 version textures if you don't add them in to the map package.
If some one lunch Your map on base Q3 instalation (without CPM, CPMA) will be dissapointed.
You can add other textures to map package but i don't know what copyright tells about it.

Its only evil and liquid textures and I think they are all in normal Q3A install.

What ever textures you are using are not included in Q3A. I use a clean install of Q3A on a different drive from my GtkRadiant Directory for testing maps in.It has no custom textures
in its directory, so any map that I play from that install that comes up with missing textures
do not have them in its .pk3 .You must put the textures in to have a complete map along
with any other custom content you may use.

Here is 2 screenshots. As you can see the liquids are working fine.

So, I a little update on my map. I had no time to work on it during the last 3 weeks, however I'm still determined to finish it and I will try to work as much as possible during the next 3 weeks and finish the gfx-stuff. However I will be in Russia during this time and won't be able to post much updates or the secred words that often, sorry for that :(.
