:D looking at all your folks styles for sculpting the layout first makes me think about starting over from scratch lol... my "flow" is a forced into the map thing that occurs over time.. im so involved in just getting the thing to light up properly and texture pretty..

you've a solid start there, when the visibility is solidly mapped out, you gain massive amounts of detail capability..(personally i find playing in rectangular/corridor type maps.. old school :D you guys are all going to have better flow in your maps than me.. :D (though that also means less skill necessary-for running around) -i found kaz map flowed so smooth.. almost didnt have to play. lol

Again some work on layout and geo. Removed all belevel patches and replased trough brushcurves.
Tomorrow I will texture it with some random textures.

Ok have been absent for a while (hate school).

Now the thing is, I looked over my map and found that it does not fit what i wanted to produce, so I decidet to start from scratch, and this is what came out:

It was too small (consisted of 3 Rooms near to each other connected with only 3 staircases and 2 teles) so it restricted movement and the defending player would have no place to hide.

!!!IT'S RELEASE DAY!!!

Ok, not yet, but atleast I got a beta ready!

This Beta 1-Release is mainly for general gameplay-test, so dont pay atention to the lack of detail and missplaced Items.

Known-Issues:

-Celling of the staircase from MH to top Rocketlauncher (starting at the MH-TP Exit) is too low.
-Top-Tier-Celling in general to low.
-YAs too near to each other
-Lightning is nowhere near to done

I hope for many coments so I can release a better Beta next Monday.

Not looked at the map yet, but, is the texture set your final choice?

It's just that I'm not sure egyptsoc suits your map style, seems a little
more gothic to me, with those arches and all. Anyway, I think you could
do with using some less detailed textures over some of the larger surfaces.
Saving the detailed textures for things like trims/edges/bouncepads and
other details.

Hope that's of some help, I'll try to look at your map later :)

EDIT: Problem with textures... Missing textures/broken shader maybe?

Hmmm, I dunno if I want to use gothic styled textures cuz all sets I found did not have enough textures, but if you know a good set you are welcome to post a link.

Only thing I think this map needs (other than details/lighting/clipping etc etc),
is alternate routes to reach the high ground in some areas. It's larger than something
like cpm1a/cpm3, so the odd tele makes it easy for the player in control to easily
dominate areas like RA/MH.
